So the manager at Foam & Wash in Poughkeepsie, Ryan Friel thought he would get in on the craze and prank a few people in the process by offering pumpkin spice hot waxes to customers on their neon sign.
"It's a joke," he laughs. "Pumpkin spice is a big thing around here so I thought why not have some fun and say we have pumpkin spice car wax."
Some people apparently are taking him seriously and answered on the business's Facebook page that they were going to have the wax applied.
One person wrote: "Be in for my wax tomorrow," and another said: "See you soon."
They can still get a hot wax, Friel says, it just won't smell like pumpkin spice.
The business is at 15 North Grand Ave., in Poughkeepsie, just off West Arterial behind McDonald's.
